Create a low-carbon travel ecosystem through more scenarios and applications

Conference promotes multi-project cooperation
At the meeting, with the support of the World Economic Forum, the world’s first terminal logistics autonomous driving unmanned distribution demonstration zone was announced to settle in Guangzhou Huadu, and a series of project signing ceremonies were held. In the future, Guangzhou will carry out unmanned delivery demonstration applications for pilot services such as express delivery, supermarket fresh food, and catering retail in some campuses, parks, scenic spots, communities, and commercial districts in Huadu District.
Over the years, the domestic commercial operation of unmanned driving has been accelerated, and the L4 Robotaxi market has a bright future. At the meeting, GAC Group, Wenyuan Zhixing, and Ruqi Travel reached a strategic cooperation and held the signing ceremony of the tripartite strategic cooperation and investment agreement.
The tripartite plans to gradually establish a Robotaxi fleet and realize commercial operation in the next few years, with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the core to radiate to the whole country, and to launch safe, economical and green autonomous driving services for the public. Among them, it is planned to launch Robotaxi operation on Ruqi travel platform in 2022 to provide users with autonomous driving travel services.
In addition, the People’s Government of Huadu District has signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with four leading unmanned distribution companies, including JD Logistics Group, White Rhino Zhida (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Puhua Smart Robot Technology Co., Ltd.
Huadu District has the only international air-railway hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is an advanced manufacturing industry base in Guangzhou and the largest international automobile industry base in South China. Over the past few years, Huadu District has focused its efforts on the development of the intelligent networked automobile industry, actively deploying unmanned driving, intelligent travel and other fields. According to the “Action Plan for the Hub-based Autonomous Driving Innovation Pilot Zone in the Greater Bay Area of Huadu District, Guangzhou” recently released, it is expected that in 2023, Huadu District will open more than 150 kilometers of autonomous driving demonstration roads. By 2025, the autonomous driving demonstration area will cover Huadu. Both are global. At present, the closed test field of intelligent network connection covering an area of 2,300 acres has been planned and construction has begun. It is expected that within 3 years, an open intelligent network connection demonstration area with the development of air-rail integration demonstration area as the core will be built, and an intelligent network connection automobile industry ecosystem will be basically formed. .
Since September of this year, with the support and coordination of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, Huadu District has gradually started docking with the World Economic Forum and reached a consensus on cooperation. In order to promote the construction of the terminal logistics autonomous driving unmanned distribution demonstration area in an orderly manner, with the approval of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, Huadu District formulated and issued the “Huadu District Implementation Plan for the Construction of Terminal Logistics Autonomous Driving Unmanned Distribution Demonstration Zone” as a follow-up support.
