MediaTek today launched the Helio P95 SoC, which uses two large A75 cores and six small A55 cores to support APU 2.0 technology.
Helio P95 is MediaTek’s latest 4G/LTE SoC, supporting Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition, Helio P95 also supports APU 2.0, and the official claims that the GPU benchmark score is 10% higher than the previous generation.
Helio P95 uses 2 Cortex-A75 cores with a frequency of 2.2GHz and 6 A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0GHz. The GPU is PowerVR GM 94446, and the official does not introduce its specifications, saying that it can run a screen with a resolution of 2520×1080.
So far, no device manufacturer has announced that it will launch a device equipped with Helio P95.
On the 3rd of this month, MediaTek released a brand-new Helio G80 platform with two Cortex-A75 architectures with a frequency of 2GHz, while the small core is six Cortex-A55s with a frequency of 1.8GHz.
