These business units plus the PC business correspond exactly to the six technical pillars Intel once announced: process and packaging, architecture, memory and storage, interconnection, security, and software.

The financial report also emphasized the outlook for the second quarter. The data will increase by 25% year-on-year, while the PC will grow steadily.

According to Intel’s global vice president and president of China, Yang Xu, in the near future, it is likely to become 30% of the traditional PC business and 70% of the data-centric business.
